- Don’t bother with pointless emails.
If it doesn’t really have any importance then why are you reading it? Stop clicking on pointless email because they are only wasting your time and make you not do the important things that need to be done.
- Quit day-dreaming.
It happens to the best of us, one minute we are trying to concentrate to get that important piece of boring work done and all of a sudden your mind wonders to what you are going to have for tea when you get home. While thoughts help make us more positive and mindful, you only need five minutes… not 30 minutes.
- Listen to music.
Listening to music can help you work through your work faster because you are listening to music that you enjoy so you end up enjoying the work you are doing and if not you do actually get it all done faster.
- Enjoy your surroundings.
Long day at work? When you get a break go take a walk, it will re-fresh you and when you get back to the office you will be ready to power through those last couple of hours.
